I can't believe there are 6 of these movies now. Some of the songs for these movies are great! I would like properly pay tribute to this woefully bad franchise by carving a pumpkin and including songs from the soundtracks on my display list.

I love your home decor and your carvings. And great job on the neep lantern. They are my new favorite tradition. I love the smell of them when they are burned.

I am literally going to set up a wall of flaming jack o' lanterns between me and the trick or treaters and then toss candy over the wall of flames.

I can get pumpkins to last a week or more by soaking them in a solution of water and bleach every couple of days. The only downside is that it turns the inside of the pumpkin white. I use 2 capfuls of bleach for every 5 gallons of water.

I'm glad you are starting to settle down after a turbulent few months. I'm sure you'll do great in your new role. You were obviously the best person for it. Congrats on successfully raising a kid. Having two smaller ones, I know it's not easy. Time to celebrate.

Yeah...I can attest to pumpkin carving being a great distraction. My entire display was borne from a job loss a couple of years ago. I decided to do something for myself instead of others. It's led to a lot of happiness being spread around.

Big bump for a stingy jack pattern. Perhaps with the devil in a tree (with a marked crucifix) and jack laughing at him. I think this pattern would represent classic Halloween and stand the test of time.

This would be an awesome pattern...but I'm not sure how many people under 50 would get it.
