Some really memorable killers in the Fear Street movies, with cool masks. Glad to see Trick or Treat Studios offering them. They're killing it with their products lately! They have the license for so many awesome IPs, and have expanded their products to much more than just masks.

The original The Munsters show is pretty silly and goofy (and sometimes pretty heartwarming). They're a lovable family of monsters, alway getting into hijinks. A pretty standard vibe for sitcoms of the era... but with a spooky twist of course. That makes them extra endearing to us Halloween fans. Th...

Agreed! Chris Sarandon is in some of my favorite spooky classics (Fright Night, Child's Play, The Nightmare Before Christmas). I wish he was in more movies. And he's on the list of nicest celebs I've met at horror conventions.

Can't argue with that, pagemaster. Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner go hand in hand. Well... I'm sure the Road Runner could do without being chased all the time. Then again, he seems to get a thrill out of taunting that coyote.

Cool! Did the Easter holiday inspire the rabbit choice? I think I carved him once for Easter. Fright night is also a classic image from a memorable poster. It works as a Halloween design, even if you don't know the movie. But it's a cool movie too! I need some more pumpkin shelving too. I think I'm ...

I can visualize this pattern. The hood, the eye sockets, the fabric wraps. Lots of lines and shadows for stencil connection points. 🤔

Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks! Wow, I haven't thought of them for ages.

I have shelving to display 36 foam pumpkins, year-round. That's probably my limit for how many I'm planning to keep. Beyond that, I'll probably start selling the older ones to make room for new ones.

Rodney Canada welcomes Ron (from 2021) and Sandy (from 2007). You've covering a mix of old and new. Did you mention how many uncarved foam pumpkins you have to work with? I'm looking at about a dozen blank canvases in front of me right now. I don't care a ton of foam-kins, so that should be enough t...

I love seeing these classic choices, immortalized in foam. Wow, the Edward Scissorhands pattern is from 2002. Two decades ago! Makes me feel old. 😆

Flintstones are iconic. The first prime time cartoon and the longest running cartoon (until the Simpsons, I believe). But without 3D shading, simple cartoons are hard to translate into stencils. The facial features often don't touch, or have to be connected with very thin, delicate lines. Or you can...

Smart idea to carve your way through your older stock of foam pumpkins at this time. We appreciate the warning about old foamies drying out and becoming more hard. Makes sense I suppose. Better to cut while the foam is still supple. Still, you have the skills to make it work!

"Cat Got Your Tongue" and "Sandy Gauze" and "Custom Frankie." Those are truly early era designs. But the classics never go out of style. Glad to see you filling out your bucket list of carves.

Also, if you haven't seen it before, take a look at this quick contest promo video that the LAIKA Studios staff created. I'm flattered to see their talented artists using my pumpkin patterns (with zombie puppets from ParaNorman nearby!)
