Three more patterns. Two more to go! Woo Hoo! These were very tricky and delicate carves. Hopefully they will last until tomorrow. I've got them soaking in bleach water now. http://i.imgur.com/M16TxV8.png http://i.imgur.com/viHSz7p.png Both of these are appearing on the same pumpkin. http://i.imgur....

Awesome looking place. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to carve. That's some good family quality time.

Only 4 more to go! Woo Hoo!!! The wife insisted on a cat. Also, I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to carve these pumpkins. Most of them were dried out and very stringy on the inside. It's almost impossible trying to clean them up when they are that way. Tomorrow will be fun...my first time using sha...

The newness is starting to wear off. My eyes are going cross, my fingers hurt, and my neck hurts from staring down for several hours per day.

8 more to go. Hopefully I can finish by Friday.

A couple of non-ZP patterns. I just couldn't resist Calvin. I also couldn't stop making my pumpkins T H I C K. They are more work, but I like the color transitions and sense of depth. My only regret is choosing pumpkins that had pronounced ridges. They distort the images somewhat. When I chose them,...

Two more down and a bunch more to go. I'm still getting warmed up. I've started with the easier patterns and throughout the week, the patterns will get progressively more detailed. I always make mistakes in the beginning. I'm not the expert stager like Raven. These pumpkin pics were taken on the top...

I'm still learning my lesson about pumpkin wall thickness. I had to carve this pattern twice on the same pumpkin because my saw blade couldn't penetrate the 2 inch wall thickness of my pumpkin. On the positive side, I love the sense of depth of thicker walled pumpkins. http://i.imgur.com/liydauO.png

I've got serious pumpkin envy. Sadly, Groot is missing and poor Baby Groot was laying on his side with his face chewed off. I'm really guessing it was a raccoon, or raccoons, which is kinda funny since one was suppose to be Groot's BFF. :P I almost started carving in my backyard, which h...
