Only 4 more to go! Woo Hoo!!!

The wife insisted on a cat. Also, I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to carve these pumpkins. Most of them were dried out and very stringy on the inside. It's almost impossible trying to clean them up when they are that way.

Tomorrow will be fun...my first time using shading and a dremel tool on a pumpkin.
Stay tuned...

Three more patterns. Two more to go! Woo Hoo!

These were very tricky and delicate carves. Hopefully they will last until tomorrow. I've got them soaking in bleach water now.

Both of these are appearing on the same pumpkin.

And finally Undead Ted. You can't see his other arm because the pumpkin is so big.

Turns out I didn't need the Dremel on this one after all. I couldn't have asked for a better pumpkin for this carve. It was soft on the inside, yet firm on the outside...almost like a honeydew melon. It was super easy to carve but still took a long time because of the detail. I didn't want to screw this one up.

Only one more to go, which I will do during my kid's nap tomorrow.
