10/22 Update: Carved Frank on a real pumpkin and added a backdrop. I also gave Cobra Kai a go. It was brutal and took a few days of chipping away, but I'm happy with how it turned out!

These are my pumpkins from last year along with a couple I have done this year. I'm still using a standard hand saw, but I just purchased the versa tool. I'm sure it will take some getting used to, but hopefully it won't take 3 to 4 hours for each pumpkin now!

Thanks!

I tried the Versa tool on Sloth, it did not go quite as planned. I quickly discovered that it can not corner very well, I wish they had a thinner bit similar to the small hand saws. That said, it works great on the longer straighter cuts. I did all of my standard precutting which helped the pieces to come off. Will try a few more before the season is over.
