Watched this tonight, what a great movie!

4 boys during, you guessed it, the summer of 1984, believe that one of their neighbours is a serial killer so start gathering evidence against him.

The score, acting, aesthetic and story are all so good! I cannot recommend this one enough.

I know the 80s, especially in horror, is having a bit of a revival just now thanks to Stranger Things, but this really is excellent :jack_o_lantern:

Im gonna have to check that one out for sure. Was it filmed in the 80's or is it a newer film set in the 80's?

Good suggestion. I saw this, and I appreciate that it captured the vibe of 80s kids in the summer, looking out for suspicious activity in their neighborhood. You're right, they didn't overdo the 80s aspect and make it a spoof or nostalgia-fest. There were some really good moments of suspense, but I recall feeling slightly disappointed with the outcome of the plot. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was hoping for deeper surprises and twists maybe?
