Good link Nightwatchman. It reminded me of a few that I have still to watch. I'm ashamed to say i've yet to see the original Fright Night.

That was a good, well informed list of movies. I would agree that most of those remakes are very worthy horror movies. I'm still skeptical about whether the new Fright Night can compete with the original though. I guess we'll see.
