The west coast definitely sees its share of rain. It really depends on where you are, but the weather is vastly different even 300kms away! I'm about 4 hours north-ish of the actual coastline, but I live in a semi-desert and it's very dry here. Except in the winter, when we basically live in a winter wonderland. =p (I hate the snow.)
