Years and years ago I read a short story that I think was written by Ray Bradbury. It told of a fellow who was inviting a group to his house. One by one all of these people were killed off in the same manner that victims in Poe's stories were killed. IF you were familiar with Poe then you could evade the traps. It seems like only one person survived, but I don't remember for sure.
I'd love to re-read the story again for a number of reasons: 1) it was an awesome story and I loved it! 2) I'm trying to convince my friend who runs a Haunted Hollow to consider doing a Poe theme. She's not going for it 'because hardly anybody knows the stories of Poe anymore'. Well, we all know the know the stories, but I'm hoping to convince her that even if you don't know them at all, they are still chilling and scary.
Anyway, does this story ring a bell with anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

"Obi-wan never told you what happened to your pumpkins."
"He told me enough, he told me *you* carved them!!"
