Food Galore!
That is part of the spread from last year's party!
The far end has bowls of dried fruit and candy with flip up tage. One side with a silly halloween name with the real name under. I had dried papaya as mummified dragons tongue, pomegranate seeds as ready to pop pimples, dried cherries as dried picked scabs, dried kiwi as sliced ogre eyes, and gummy fried eggs, gummy chicken feet and gummy sugared candy corn marshmallows!
If you have a local bulk food store they should have most of that. If not I make a trip up to Walnut Creek Foods each year for mine and you can shop most of it online!

I took a pot of cheesewhiz and added a bit of blue food coloring to make it green and served it with pretzel rods as snot on a stick and a bowl of frito scoops were called fingernail trimmings! Half the fun is wandering the aisles of the store and thinking up gross names for regular food. You can also buy mini cream puffs and call them puss pockets!
The Brain Pate from Britta is SO. GOOD. I added a layer of pate to the mold before you add in the green onions to keep it pink. Also spray the living daylights out of it with nonstick spray!! it is REALLY hard to get out.

She also has a HUGE list of great food to make!
One mold two brains! Alton Brown has a SUPER tasty Brain Panna Cotta with cranberry glaze that creeped so many people out I had a ton left that I got to eat. Darn
The Kitty Litter Cake is a classic and this was WAS SO GOOD. I used a spice cake instead of a chocolate cake though
