Oh friends. This is going to be so fun. I’ll update this week with our concept and what I’ve bought.

Couples costumes are fun! Pirate costumes are fun (I've done a few). Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I’ve never dressed as a pirate for Halloween so I’m excited. Also my entire concept is based on a video someone painting something on tiktok because I’m random.

I need to take photos but we are kind of going the "zombie pirate" route

Boyfriend will be wearing
Pirate shirt/vest
We need to find pants
Boots
He has a pirate weapon holster
He wants a Monkey on his shoulder, preferably a zombie-fied one
He does not want to wear a hat or dorag. I hope he'll do a eyepatch for some photos

I will be wearing
Cream and red satin top (I'm making it out of two different tops I thrifted)
Black over corset
Gold earring, some sort of doubloon necklace
Red pirate hat with do-rag under
Some sort of skirt
and the BEST PART
I am going to have tentacles coming out from under my skirt. I haven't worked out how yet but omg I love it so much.

I was able to find "pirate" weapons at Goodwill for 1.99 each - Blunderbuss, Cutlasses etc. We also have a fencing foil he wants to use.

Wow I am really bad about photos. We went to a party and won best costume and I also won best female costume.










We won money and a bunch of swag from the bar
