Okay guys I am posting this on as many pumpkin boards as I can. We have all talked about Carving watermelons. Well I am looking for someone who makes Foam Watermelons like the pumpkins found at Michaels or Funkins. I would like to carve about 20 different tiki patterns for a party this summer and I don't think the real things would last very long in southern california heat. If anyone can help that would be great.

Can't say I've ever seen any artificial watermelons. But if I do, I'll be sure to report my findings.

Why not Tikis in Fumpkins? Just use pumpkins.

Another idea is Japanese lanterns. I made some simple paper lanterns that I used on my reception desk. They don't have the cool unique effect of melons but they might work. Unfortunately my party was during the day and the effect ws totally lost but they looked really cool lit up at night. If I can find those pictures, I'll try to post them. Here's a picture of the lanterns at the party.
