I'd be interested to see some Phantom Phrases that could be used inside a Halloween maze. Things like "get out," "turn back", "wrong way," "dead end," "this way"

Any one else have good ideas?

I like those phrase suggestions. Good for helping people navigate a maze, but they also work on their own. "Turn back" or "get out" would work on the front porch of a grumpy Halloween scrooge.

I also like these 2 word phrases because they are pretty short. Letters can take a while to cut out, so longer phrases become tricky to carve and to fit on a pumpkin.

I like those phrases, and even though I live in a flat (or apartment, if you will) I'd put a couple of those at my front door. Or even on the stair coming up.... That would freak out my neighbours

I love pumpkins with words or phrases on them, I usually carve at least one each year.
When we moved 5 years ago, I carved one that said "Good bye", hopefully the new owners didn't need to explain where the pumpkins went the following year.

I really like the idea of "Dead End". Put in a zombie head. ( The scene with the shrunken head in "The Nightmare Before Christmas" comes to mind).

It's short and drives home a message

Indeed, most of these phrases aren't limited to use in a maze.
"this way" can lead to your awesome halloween party.
"beware" and "danger" are pretty generic.
